Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Eddy Perez (ranked 24937 p4p, 0 weight class) and King Racing (ranked 4666 p4p, 0 weight class). King Racing has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Eddy Perez's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Eddy Perez! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, King Racing! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Frank Dennis and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Racing bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Racing controlling from side mount. Perez is trying to work for a sweep but Racing has mounted him! Racing controlling from mount. Perez tries to get back to half guard but can't. Racing stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet. Racing closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Perez manages to escape and get back to his feet! This has been an exciting period of action! Racing fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Perez to the ground. Racing is now in Perez's guard. Racing won't allow Perez to sweep him here. The fighters are working up against the cage. Perez manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Racing escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Racing shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Racing trying to control but Perez is working from the bottom. Racing stays in close to Perez's body and controls the position. Perez wants to stand and escape but Racing is having none of it. Racing controlling from the top position. Perez manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Racing misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Racing closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Perez to the mat! Perez manages to get full guard. Racing looks winded! Perez wants to sweep here but Racing controlling him for the moment. Racing's corner is telling him to maintain position. Perez looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Racing trying to control but Perez is working from the bottom. Racing pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Perez is keeping the position for now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Perez is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Racing closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Perez's guard. Perez is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Perez looking for a sweep. Not yet Perez, not yet. Racing trying to stand up but can't free himself from Perez's guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Racing stands up from Perez's guard - Racing perhaps looking for a knockout. Perez moves in looking to clinch but Racing pushes him off.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Racing decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Perez wants to get back to full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Racing slows the pace down in half guard. Perez is trying to stand.
Racing is figuring out what he wants to do next. Let's hope that Racing has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Perez is looking to improve his position.

A close round but King Racing will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Racing has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Perez fails to land the takedown. Perez tries to clinch up and Racing counters with a body kick that stops Perez in his tracks momentarily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Racing closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Perez did well to prevent Racing getting side control. Perez tries to roll over but Racing keeps him under control. King Racing has got the better of the ground game so far. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Racing thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Perez's head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Racing is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Perez is looking to improve his position.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Perez throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Racing tries to stand but can't do so whilst Perez controls his leg. Perez is trying to get back to full guard. Still in half guard, Racing seems content to control. Perez trying to control from the bottom.
Racing takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Perez tries to roll over but Racing keeps him under control. Perez is working hard here to advance position. Still in half guard, Racing seems content to control.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Perez gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Racing counters with a two punch combo.
Perez is rocked! Racing lands with a precision combination! Left, right, uppercut and Perez falls flat on his face, eyes wide open but he's out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:47 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). King Racing!
