Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Chip Stevens (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Britantica Cadman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Chip Stevens! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Britantica Cadman! The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Donatello Bradman and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stevens wants to clinch. Cadman feints and as Stevens raises his hands in defense, Cadman changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Cadman wants to pass the guard but Stevens is keeping the position. Stevens looking for a sweep. Not yet Stevens, not yet. Stevens will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Stevens throws a nice elbow from the bottom. Stevens keeping moving, preventing Cadman from controlling successfully. Cadman postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Stevens is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Cadman, into his guard. Cadman had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Stevens is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Cadman Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Stevens's back instead. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Cadman looks gassed! Stevens is taking damage to the body and head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stevens breaks Cadman's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Stevens working some strikes from top position. Cadman is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Stevens with a flurry of punches that miss. Stevens trying to control but Cadman is working from the bottom. Cadman looking for a guillotine here but Stevens defends easily.
Cadman is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Stevens cracks Cadman with a solid left hand.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Cadman not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Stevens really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Stevens stands up over Cadman, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Cadman escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Stevens gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Stevens accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Stevens works over Cadman with some ground and pound from guard. Cadman had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Stevens is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Cadman Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Stevens's back instead. Cadman looking for the choke from the back.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stevens is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Cadman gets his way!

Stevens knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Cadman on the ground. Stevens is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
