Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mellow Mood (ranked 1754 p4p, 192 weight class) and Tomomi Tsuruta (ranked 2830 p4p, 282 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mood feints and then cracks Tsuruta's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Tsuruta down.
Mood scores with a leg kick.
The crowd cheers as Tsuruta lands an impressive looking overhand right. Mood doesn't seem phased though.
Tsuruta shoots in looking for a takedown but Mood manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Tsuruta's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Mood lands a really nice looking cross but Tsuruta seems unphased.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Mood shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Tsuruta eats them both and turns towards Mood to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
