Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Henrique Castro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Optus Coll (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Castro comes to the cage accompanied by Kreator - Hordes of Chaos. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Seu Braga and Matheus Silva.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Castro throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Castro lands with a shot to the body.

Coll forces Castro back against the cage and clinches.

Coll breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Castro closes the distance but Coll moves to the side

and Coll counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Coll.

Coll pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Castro misses with a two punch combination.
Castro throws a leg kick that is checked

and Coll counters with a nice double leg into guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Coll trying to stand up but can't free himself from Castro's guard.
Castro is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Castro is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Castro looking to hit a scissor sweep but Coll is one step ahead there.

Castro looking for a guillotine here but Coll defends easily.

Castro is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Coll lands a couple of digs.
Coll preventing the sweep.
Castro keeping moving, preventing Coll from controlling successfully.
Castro has a closed guard, preventing Coll from standing up.

Castro had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Coll is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Castro Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Coll's back instead.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Castro is looking for the choke from the back position but Coll is controlling his hands well.
Castro is breathing heavily.

Castro is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Coll has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Castro has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Coll taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Castro doesn't care though - he's delighted!
