Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Reed Andrews and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Caria has managed to clinch.
Caria pushes Ad Din back against the ropes and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Caria pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Ad Din lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Ad Din misses with a few strikes there.
Ad Din misses the jab.
Ad Din throws a hook but Caria blocks it.
Ad Din misses the body punch
and Caria counters with a stiff right hand.
Ad Din misses with a body shot
and Caria counters with an outside leg kick.
Caria takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Caria uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Ad Din.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Ad Din fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Caria manages to avoid it.
Caria looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
Ad Din misses with a hook.
Ad Din swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Ad Din's coach down at Lovelair Muay Thai/MMA was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Ad Din's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
A slapping leg kick lands for Caria.

Caria thinks about countering with a body kick.
Ad Din throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Caria throws a big counter combination but Ad Din scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Ad Din jabs Caria to the body, keeping him at a distance.

Caria tries to close the distance and clinch but Ad Din swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Ad Din takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Caria throws the kick towards the body but Ad Din avoids it.

Caria uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Ad Din.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Caria cracks Ad Din with a perfect right hand that drops him to the mat! Ad Din is sitting up but I can't see if he's OK from my position. The referee's count has reached 5,6,7 and Ad Din is still not up. Can he make it? 8,9,10! He's out! Ad Din could not beat the count!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Melankomas Caria!
