Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Vito Roy (ranked 7274 p4p, 0 weight class) and Reno Carrera (ranked 5204 p4p, 0 weight class). Carrera comes into a darkened arena with his song building. SOAD- Toxicity kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Reno Carrera will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Reno Carrera ! The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Thiago Cunha and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Roy tries to keep at a distance but Carrera has taken the fight into the clinch. Roy jumps guard and drags Carrera to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Carrera avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Carrera is looking to advance position but Roy has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount! Roy prevents Carrera from getting the reversal. Roy can't keep his opponent in guard - Carrera advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Roy is refusing to be controlled, as Carrera sits in half guard. Roy is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Carrera pulls his head out easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Carrera is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Roy sees it coming and defends easily. Roy blocking the ground and pound attempt from Carrera . Roy really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Carrera seems to be looking for submissions.

That was a close round but I would say that Vito Roy will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Vito Roy. That's going to take a lot out of him. Carrera has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Roy clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Roy showing good submission defense here.

Roy content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Carrera had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Roy defends it easily. Roy working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Roy postures up and lands a big shot to Carrera 's brow.

Carrera drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Roy manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Carrera has Roy in his guard.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Roy with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Roy has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Carrera is proving hard to escape from. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Vito Roy will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Roy scores with a one two! Carrera had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Roy with a body punch. A glancing blow. Reno Carrera has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Vito Roy is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Roy is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Carrera can do to turn this around? Roy blocks a head kick by Carrera .
And that's the end of the fight! Vito Roy showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Roy, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
