Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between BJ PENCIL (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Pilkington (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Michael Pilkington!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Colin Fotheringham and William Gold.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

PENCIL gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

PENCIL is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
PENCIL has his hands on Pilkington's head, controlling the position.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now PENCIL is on top in guard.

Pilkington is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

PENCIL throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Pilkington fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. PENCIL sprawls well initially but Pilkington persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Pilkington is taking a breather. PENCIL says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
