Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Alika Hakekia (ranked 1372 p4p, 166 weight class) and Jesse Point (ranked 1417 p4p, 179 weight class). Jesse Point is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Alika Hakekia! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jesse Point! The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Arvi Lind and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Point moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
It looks like Alika Hakekia has been cut. Point throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Jesse Point seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hakekia blocks a low kick nicely. Point ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Hakekia moves away. Hakekia jabs Point to the body, keeping him at a distance. Point needs to keep his hands up - Hakekia had a free shot at his head there. Hakekia throws a looping overhand right but Point ducks down to avoid it. Point misses with a head kick.
Nice body punch from Point. Hakekia is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Point. Point tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Hakekia is able to avoid easily. Hakekia was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Hakekia takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Point stuns Hakekia with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Hakekia throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Point jabbing away but nothing is landing. Point scores with a jab. Hakekia acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Point misses with a looping right.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hakekia is looking to clinch but Point is avoiding it.
Hakekia walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Point checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Point throws a shot to the body.
Hakekia digs a good hook to Point's body.
Point moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Hakekia moves out of range as Point throws a body kick.
Hakekia swings for the body but Point moves out of range.
Hakekia slips a jab from Point. Hakekia defending well as Point loads up on a big left hand. Point drops Hakekia with a beautiful combination! Hakekia stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Point is looking for the KO!
Hakekia is rocked! This has been an exciting period of action! A nice leg kick lands there from Point. Oh Hakekia is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Point ducks right into an uppercut from Hakekia. Point throws a sloppy head kick and Hakekia moves out of range easily. Hakekia feinted there with a counter leg kick. Point lunges in with a left hook that violently twists Hakekia head around and knocks him out cold! Point hops onto the cage and yells out at the top of his lungs - Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaah! They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.
