Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between David Sapman (ranked 3585 p4p, 378 weight class) and David Santos (ranked 4547 p4p, 443 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, David Sapman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, David Santos! The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Paul Gruel and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sapman moves into the clinch successfully.
Santos looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Sapman can't get the takedown.
Sapman definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Santos wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Sapman keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Santos's efforts to push away. Sapman tightens his grip and picks Santos up, before dumping him to the ground. Santos manages to land in guard. Sapman distracts Santos with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Sapman controlling from the top position. Sapman stands up over Santos, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Santos looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sapman landing some decent shots from guard. Sapman lands a couple of decent looking shots. Sapman decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
That's one minute gone in the round. Santos tries a head kick but it misses.
Santos throws a right and a left that Sapman avoids nicely. Sapman drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Santos is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Sapman dives into side control.
Santos is trying to escape the position but Sapman is controlling the position. Sapman has hold of Santos's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Santos tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Sapman cranks the arm and Santos screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Santos, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). David Sapman! David Sapman seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
