Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kamden Jackson (ranked 2379 p4p, 315 weight class) and Lynn Steinheiser (ranked 3798 p4p, 447 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Jackson might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Creed II- Eye of the Tiger. Lynn Steinheiser told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lynn Steinheiser! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Wesley Smith and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jackson connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
It looks like Lynn Steinheiser has been cut. Jackson throws an off balance right hand
so Steinheiser counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Jackson has momentary wrist control but Steinheiser slips an elbow through the middle. Steinheiser postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Jackson looking for a guillotine here but Steinheiser defends easily.

Jackson is rocked! Steinheiser scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Oh Jackson is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Steinheiser with a nice head shot there. Steinheiser holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now. Jackson is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Steinheiser trying to control but Jackson postures up.

Jackson throws a lazy right hand but Steinheiser sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Steinheiser displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Jackson throws out the jab. Steinheiser is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jackson misses with a straight right. Steinheiser feints the counter takedown. Steinheiser has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. Kamden Jackson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Nice uppercut lands for Jackson. That snapped Steinheiser's head back.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Steinheiser trying to control the position from guard on top but Jackson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Steinheiser landing with the ground and pound. Steinheiser postures up and lands a big shot to Jackson's brow. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Steinheiser scoring with punches to the head and body. Jackson keeping moving, preventing Steinheiser from controlling successfully.

Steinheiser keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Steinheiser and the ref steps in to end the fight! Steinheiser can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:23 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Lynn Steinheiser! In his post fight interview, Lynn Steinheiser started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception. The defeated Kamden Jackson had this to say: 'The loss is tough, but I will come back stronger!'.
