Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Godric Shackleford (ranked 3174 p4p, 266 weight class) and Chosu McGrady (ranked 2723 p4p, 242 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Godric Shackleford!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

12 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, Chosu McGrady!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Wesley Smith and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A combination from McGrady does no damage.
McGrady shoots for a double leg takedown but Shackleford sprawls well. He's pushed McGrady's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
A counter left hand to the body from Shackleford misses its target.
McGrady lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Shackleford dips to his left and cracks McGrady with an uppercut!
McGrady avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
McGrady drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Shackleford defends it well.
Shackleford connects with an inside leg kick.
McGrady is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

McGrady shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than McGrady was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

McGrady swings around for an armbar but Shackleford sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into McGrady's guard.
McGrady is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Shackleford is controlling him.
McGrady has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Shackleford can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
McGrady can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Shackleford controls the pace.

McGrady had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Shackleford defends it easily.

We've been hearing good reports from Shackleford's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Shackleford has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Shackleford is going oldschool here, as he tries to force McGrady to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so McGrady shrugs it off.
McGrady bucks Shackleford off and manages to get back to his feet!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
McGrady throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Shackleford.
McGrady rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Shackleford moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
McGrady misses with a few strikes there.
McGrady shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Shackleford sprawls well. Shackleford wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. McGrady gets slowly back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
