Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Rueben FiereFist (ranked 3375 p4p, 0 weight class) and Christian Michael (ranked 5122 p4p, 0 weight class). Christian Michael is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rueben FiereFist! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Christian Michael! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Michael fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. FiereFist changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. FiereFist gets a clinch. FiereFist takes an elbow to the forehead. Michael is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. FiereFist wants to get back to striking at distance but Michael won't allow it.
FiereFist wants to break the clinch but can't.
Michael fails to pull guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Michael keeps control of FiereFist as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. FiereFist avoiding damage as Michael throws knees to the body.
Michael goes for a takedown in the clinch but FiereFist prevents it.
Rueben FiereFist has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Christian Michael. Michael jumps guard and drags FiereFist to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
That's one minute gone in the round. FiereFist is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. FiereFist stops Michael from standing up. Michael escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. FiereFist gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. FiereFist trying to control the position from guard on top but Michael is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. FiereFist stopping the sweep attempt from Michael. Michael trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Michael is sent reeling backwards by a solid uppercut. He barely regains his balance and FiereFist moves in for the kill throwing a continuous barrage of punches that force the ref to step in.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rueben FiereFist! Rueben FiereFist decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
