The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Ren Mimura and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lind shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Duc Lao manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Duc Lao wants to get back to his feet but Lind passes into half guard.
Duc Lao is trying to control but can't.
Lind wants to work for an arm triangle but Duc Lao is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Lind looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Lind is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Duc Lao tries to roll over but Lind keeps him under control.
Lind seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Duc Lao does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Lind in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Duc Lao tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Lind!
