Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jack Johnson (ranked 6887 p4p, 531 weight class) and Timothy Rex (ranked 6719 p4p, 529 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jack Johnson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, Timothy Rex! The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Yukihiro Shimada and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rex clinches up against the cage. Rex missing with knees to the body.
Johnson stalling.
Johnson works on Rex's body with a couple of short punches. Rex can't find room to land a body shot as Johnson controls the action.
Rex misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Johnson.
Johnson blocks an elbow strike from Rex.
Johnson's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Come on Johnson - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Johnson tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Rex throws an elbow that misses.

Johnson has Rex pushed against the cage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A right hand to the body from Johnson.
Rex is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Johnson is defending well for now. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Rex has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Johnson blocks the elbow strike.
Johnson scores with a shot to the side of Rex's head. Johnson lands a hook to the side of the head. Johnson on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Johnson scores with a nice hook to the head. Johnson digs a right hand underneath Rex's ribcage. Rex let out a lung full of air as it connected. Rex working aggressively here.
Johnson works on Rex's body with a couple of short punches. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Johnson creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Rex swings wildly with an uppercut but Johnson uses good head movement to avoid it. Johnson scores with a nice hook to the head. Johnson scores with an uppercut up the middle. Rex misses with a hook to the ribs.
Johnson lands with a left to the head. Rex's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Rex is rocked! Johnson pushes Rex against the cage. Johnson is working some dirty boxing. Johnson pushes off with a quick right hook! Rex goes down! Rex tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Johnson moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jack Johnson!
