Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tuccio Turturro (ranked 236 p4p, 37 weight class) and Leszek Sobota (ranked 4156 p4p, 420 weight class). Turturro's entrance music is 2 Pac - All Eyez On Me. A fine choice. Leszek Sobota has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
16 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tuccio Turturro! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Leszek Sobota! The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Turturro throws an off balance right hand
letting Sobota counter with a right hand. Turturro tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Sobota uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Turturro. Turturro closes the distance and clinches. Turturro drops down looking for an ankle pick but Sobota pulls his leg out and moves away.
Turturro rushes Sobota and presses him up against the cage. Turturro tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Sobota smiles and moves away.
Sobota displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Turturro. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tuccio Turturro. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Turturro pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Turturro fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Sobota to the ground. Turturro is now in Sobota's guard. Turturro slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Turturro advances to half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sobota preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head. Turturro is working for a submission of some sort.
Turturro content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Sobota wants to improve his position but Turturro is controlling well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Turturro is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Sobota is just riding it out for now. Turturro eventually gives up the hold. Turturro controlling the action here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Turturro prevents Sobota from improving his position. Turturro tries to pass the half guard into mount. Sobota knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Well, if Turturro is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Turturro seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Sobota for as long as he can get away with.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Turturro circles away from the clinch attempt.
Sobota wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Sobota clinches with his opponent.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Sobota. Sobota stops a takedown attempt from Turturro.
Turturro takes a shot to the head. Turturro tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Sobota smiles and moves away.
Turturro misses with a combination
and Sobota counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Turturro drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Sobota gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Turturro drags the fight down to the ground.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Turturro controls Sobota momentarily but Sobota frees himself. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tuccio Turturro dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Sobota digs a good body shot into Turturro's ribs. Turturro tries to land a body kick and Sobota counters with a left to the body. Tuccio Turturro is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Sobota lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Turturro at a distance.
Sobota lands a jab to Turturro's midsection. Turturro misses with a takedown and Sobota counters with a crisp one two that drops Turturro! Sobota thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Turturro to his feet! Turturro is in big trouble!
Turturro is rocked! Turturro looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Turturro looks to clinch and Sobota counters with a big right hand! Oh Turturro is in trouble here! Sobota follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:31 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Leszek Sobota! A very excited looking Leszek Sobota rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
