Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Milford Cubicle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Harris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Cubicle, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Cubicle fails to land the takedown.
Cubicle swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Cubicle.
Harris fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Harris decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

and Harris counters with a shoot takedown. Cubicle fights it but they end up in guard.

and Cubicle makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Cubicle misses with a knee to the head.
Harris has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Cubicle is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Cubicle's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

That was a close round but I would say that Milford Cubicle will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Harris chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Cubicle can pounce on him.
Harris shoots for a double leg takedown but Cubicle sprawls well. He's pushed Harris's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Cubicle is looking to wear down Harris with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Cubicle uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Harris has time to react.
