Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Keith Bowers (ranked 25200 p4p, 0 weight class) and Guy Jameston (ranked 5288 p4p, 0 weight class). Guy Jameston will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Keith Bowers! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Guy Jameston! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jameston has taken the fight to the clinch.
Bowers is pushing Jameston up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Jameston avoids a wild elbow strike from Bowers. Bowers drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Jameston gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Bowers as Jameston tries to tie him up. Jameston blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Jameston trying to control the position but instead, Bowers has worked for underhooks and has pushed Jameston into the cage. Jameston pulls guard effortlessly. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jameston tries to strike from the bottom.
Jameston is trying to control the position but Bowers postures up. Bowers gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bowers has managed to clinch.
Jameston is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Bowers can't fight it off and eventually Jameston manages to take the fight to the floor. Bowers looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Bowers manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage. Jameston turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Jameston manages to end up in side control. Bowers parries the strikes from Jameston easily there. Jameston is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Bowers to escape.
Bowers tries to get back to half guard but can't. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Bowers is not content to let Jameston control the position. Bowers is trying to improve his position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bowers sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Jameston is trying to control the action in half guard but Bowers is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Jameston is looking to advance position but Bowers won't allow it. Bowers wants to get back to full guard. Bowers makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Bowers. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Bowers is on top in guard.
Jameston looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Bowers has picked Jameston up and slammed him! Jameston can't keep hold of the triangle and Bowers manages to pass to side control!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bowers working the head with strikes. Bowers sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Jameston is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Jameston is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Bowers is chipping away with strikes.
Bowers scoring with punches and elbows. Jameston looks winded! Bowers scoring with punches and elbows. Bowers cracks Jameston with an elbow. That is naaassty.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jameston is working to avoid the ground and pound but Bowers connects with a decent elbow. Bowers stands up and we're back to a striking position. Jameston is looking to clinch but Bowers is avoiding it.
Bowers looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit. Bowers keeps the fight on the outside. An attempted straight right counter from Bowers misses the target. Bowers keeps the fight on the outside. Bowers avoids a punch combination nicely.
Bowers manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Jameston on his heels. He'll look to pass Jameston's guard now, I'm sure. Jameston is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Bowers dives into side control.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Bowers stands up and beckons Jameston to his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Keith Bowers dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Jameston gets a double leg takedown into Bowers's guard. Bowers pushes Jameston off and scrambles back to his feet.
Bowers scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Guy Jameston seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The fight stays on the outside here - Jameston looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Jameston looking to score a takedown here. Bowers is defending well but Jameston drives through and ends up in Bowers's guard. Bowers has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Jameston is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Bowers is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. Jameston lands a nice knee to the body. Jameston trying to control the position but instead, Bowers has worked for underhooks and has pushed Jameston into the cage. Bowers is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Jameston turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Bowers explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there! Jameston throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Bowers drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. This has been an exciting period of action! Bowers landing a few strikes. Jameston tries to improve position but can't. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bowers looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Jameston is looking for a sweep. Bowers has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Bowers lands a decent elbow from side control. Bowers working away. Bowers stands up and beckons Jameston to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bowers shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Bowers is looking to work some ground and pound but Jameston has wrist control. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Jameston is trying to control the position from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bowers throwing strikes from guard but Jameston blocks nicely. Bowers gets to his feet. Jameston looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bowers dodges the punch combination from Jameston.
Bowers shoots in looking for a takedown but Jameston manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Bowers's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Keith Bowers. That's going to take a lot out of him. Jameston throws a series of punches but Bowers avoids them all with ease. Bowers scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Bowers lands a nice forearm strike. Bowers thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Bowers has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Jameston is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Bowers yanks on the arm and Jameston is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Bowers.
