Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Speedy Gonzales (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Justice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Frank Dennis and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gonzales lands with a kick to the ribs.

Justice has Gonzales pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Justice pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Gonzales tumbling to the mat - Justice dives into Gonzales's guard.
Justice wants to control from the top but Gonzales keeps moving.

Justice had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Gonzales is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Justice Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Gonzales's back instead.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Well Gonzales has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
