The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
carwin looks for a takedown but Jamison sprawls well.
Jamison works carwin's body with a nice hook.

Jamison wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Jamison throws a right and a left that carwin avoids nicely.
Jamison closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming carwin to the mat! carwin manages to get full guard.
Jamison controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

carwin isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Jamison stacks carwin on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Jamison!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Jamison lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
carwin uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Jamison.

carwin has his foot on Jamison's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Jamison works his way back into a safe position though.

carwin drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Jamison manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now carwin has Jamison in his guard.

carwin had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Jamison is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. carwin Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Jamison's back instead.

carwin doesn't have the hooks in and Jamison manages to turn into his guard.

Mack Jamison is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Jamison throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent carwin stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Nice uppercut lands for Jamison. That snapped carwin's head back.
