Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between General Snus (ranked 1959 p4p, 294 weight class) and Chong Tay (ranked 2442 p4p, 347 weight class). Chong Tay has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, General Snus! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Chong Tay! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tay thumps Snus with a low kick. Tay misses with a kick to the body.
Tay throws a right hand that misses
and Snus counters with a straight right hand. Tay is looking to land body kicks. A head kick misses from Tay. Tay misses with a two punch combination.
Snus was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Snus takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Tay throws a right and a left that both miss. Tay lands a left and a right that send Snus crashing to the mat, dazed. Tay thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Snus is rocked!
It looks like General Snus has been cut. We've been hearing reports that Snus has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Tay misses with a double jab.
Oh Snus is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Tay throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Snus seems to have got his legs back now. Snus uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Tay. Snus was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Tay tries to bum rush Snus with a series of wild strikes but Snus uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Tay misses with a series of wild punches.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tay misses with a few strikes there.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Tay.

Tay throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Tay tries to bum rush Snus with a series of wild strikes but Snus uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Snus throwing a counter right hand but Tay manages to avoid it. Snus takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. A nice leg kick lands there from Tay. Tay rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Snus moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Tay misses with a jab, cross combination.
Snus swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Tay throws a nice looking combination but Snus bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. It looked like Snus wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Tay swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Snus counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Tay misses with a combination
and Tay takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Tay's coach down at Crapollas Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Tay's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Snus takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

and Snus counters with a nice right hand that sends Tay toppling to the canvas! Tay scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Snus finish him?!
Tay is rocked! A combination from Tay does no damage. Snus swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Tay lands with a kick to the temple. Snus shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" A low kick from Tay is predictable there and Snus counters with a crisp right hand that drops Tay! Snus lets Tay back up to his feet, looking for a finish! Tay is still on wobbly legs! Can Snus finish him? Chong Tay seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Tay misses with a wild combination.
An attempted straight right counter from Snus misses the target. Oooooh!!! Tay has knocked Snus down with a huge combo! Tay steps away and waves a wobbly Snus back to his feet! This one might not go much longer! Tay seems to have recovered his senses. Snus avoids the head kick by Tay.
A little feinted left hand from Snus on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tay throws a sloppy head kick and Snus counters with a lovely straight right hand! Snus tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Tay looks to land a left hand but Snus moved out of range nicely. Tay misses with the body kick and Snus counters with a right hand from hell and Tay is out cold! A vicious knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). General Snus! Our winner, General Snus, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
