Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Christoper Mcknight (ranked 25355 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sergey Orehovskiy (ranked 25387 p4p, 0 weight class). Orehovskiy has chosen Prince of the ring as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Christoper Mcknight! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sergey Orehovskiy! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Frank Dennis and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Orehovskiy shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Mcknight manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Mcknight is wriggling around but Orehovskiy manages to pass to half guard.
Mcknight looks like he's trying to stand up.
Mcknight pushes Orehovskiy off and gets back to his feet. Orehovskiy gets caught flat footed, as Mcknight shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Orehovskiy is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Mcknight connects with a couple of short punches. Orehovskiy looking to hit a scissor sweep but Mcknight is one step ahead there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Orehovskiy is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Mcknight is trying to control but can't.
Orehovskiy wants to free his trapped foot but Mcknight is holding on for dear life with his legs. Orehovskiy content to control rather than advance. Orehovskiy stops Mcknight from getting back to his feet.
Orehovskiy stands up and beckons Mcknight to join him on the feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mcknight gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Mcknight working a defensive guard here.
Mcknight has his foot on Orehovskiy's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Orehovskiy works his way back into a safe position though. Orehovskiy decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Mcknight, up you get! Mcknight looks to clinch and Orehovskiy counters with a left and a right that stings Mcknight. Mcknight closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Orehovskiy did well to prevent Mcknight getting side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Orehovskiy controlling the position well. Orehovskiy gets full guard. Orehovskiy is pulling down on Mcknight's head. It's preventing any offense from Mcknight, at least for the moment.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Orehovskiy keeping moving, preventing Mcknight from controlling successfully. Orehovskiy is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Mcknight has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Orehovskiy pulls Mcknight in close to prevent any damage. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Mcknight postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Orehovskiy is pulling down on Mcknight's head. It's preventing any offense from Mcknight, at least for the moment. Orehovskiy wants to sweep but no luck. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Orehovskiy has control of Mcknight's left arm, preventing Mcknight from doing any damage.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Mcknight wants to clinch and Orehovskiy counters with a one-two to the body. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Sergey Orehovskiy will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Orehovskiy shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Mcknight defends it nicely. Orehovskiy fails with a takedown attempt. Mcknight is looking to counter punch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Orehovskiy has a takedown stuffed. Mcknight drops down looking for a counter takedown but Orehovskiy sprawls and moves away. Christoper Mcknight has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sergey Orehovskiy.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mcknight fails with an attempt to clinch.
Orehovskiy feints the counter takedown. Orehovskiy throws a sloppy head kick and Mcknight moves out of range easily. Mcknight tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Orehovskiy manages to circle out of the way. Orehovskiy keeps the fight on the outside. Mcknight tries to close the distance and clinch up but Orehovskiy swats him away and circles back towards the center. Despite the aggression on Orehovskiy's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. Mcknight has closed the distance and engaged Orehovskiy in a clinch.
Orehovskiy jumps guard but Mcknight stands there with Orehovskiy around his waist. Orehovskiy gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Mcknight is looking to break free of the clinch but Orehovskiy has double underhooks.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Mcknight is trying to force a seperation but Orehovskiy has the dominant position. Mcknight is trying to force a seperation but Orehovskiy has the dominant position. Mcknight escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Orehovskiy shoots in and gets a takedown into Mcknight's guard. Mcknight will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Mcknight is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Orehovskiy stands up and waves to Mcknight to follow him. Mcknight moves into the clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The referee calls for Mcknight to work.
Mcknight looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Orehovskiy keeps control of Mcknight as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. A frustrated look appears on Mcknight's face as he tries to break the clinch. Orehovskiy successfully pulls guard.
Orehovskiy is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Mcknight rolls with it to try and escape but Orehovskiy cranks on the arm and Mcknight is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
