Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Edik Ivanovic (ranked 5390 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cyrus DusK (ranked 5283 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Cyrus DusK! The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Daniel Franklin and Michael Johnstone.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! DusK pushes Ivanovic up against the cage in a clinch. Ivanovic tries to pull guard but DusK holds him up against the cage and eventually Ivanovic drops back down to his feet.
Ivanovic misses with a short punch on the inside. Ivanovic avoiding damage as DusK throws knees to the body.
Ivanovic looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Ivanovic has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. DusK taking a break, stalling in the clinch.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Ivanovic has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics DusK uses from the top position. DusK looking to pass the guard. Ivanovic has his foot on DusK's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. DusK works his way back into a safe position though. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ivanovic wants to stand and escape but DusK is having none of it. DusK stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ivanovic swivels though and keeps the full guard. Ivanovic has a closed guard, preventing DusK from standing up. DusK preventing the sweep. Ivanovic seems to have got his legs back now. Ivanovic isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. DusK stacks Ivanovic on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by DusK! Ivanovic is breathing heavily. Ivanovic wants to get back to his feet but DusK drags him back down.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Ivanovic is trying to get back to half guard. DusK working away. DusK really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ivanovic. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Ivanovic tries to buck DusK off but DusK is having none of it. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Who's going to make the next move?
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Edik Ivanovic seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. DusK displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Ivanovic.

This has been an exciting period of action! Ivanovic tries to score a body lock takedown but DusK shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Ivanovic jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as DusK walks away with a smile on his face. Ivanovic gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Ivanovic closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. A short right hand to the side of the head by DusK. Cyrus DusK showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!
DusK lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Ivanovic takes the fight into the clinch. DusK lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Ivanovic or not. DusK connects with a nasty looking knee right to Ivanovic's face.
