The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab lands there for Pelayo.
Jackson shoots in but Pelayo avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Pelayo throws a good cross that connects.
Jackson moves into the clinch.
Jackson prevents a body shot from Pelayo.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Pelayo just misses with a elbow thrown towards Jackson's brow.
Jackson tries to pull guard but Pelayo forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Pelayo cracks Jackson with a nice body shot.
Jackson jumps guard and drags Pelayo to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Pelayo throws a big elbow that misses.
Pelayo must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Jackson working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Pelayo doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Jackson is tightening it up a little... Pelayo has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Pelayo reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Pelayo taps out! Nice BJJ there by Jackson!
