The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Illya Tyunina and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.

Escobar lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Escobar cracks Hirigushi with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Escobar has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Hirigushi to stand back up!
Escobar feints and then cracks Hirigushi's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Hirigushi down.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Escobar drops Hirigushi with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Hirigushi looks back up at him and smiles so Escobar waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Escobar lands with a massive overhand right! Stick a fork in Hirigushi - he's out cold! Ermm... I think I just mixed my metaphors but yeah... That was a nice KO! Big win for Escobar!

Diego Escobar was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
