Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Takayama Yataro (ranked 4040 p4p, 177 weight class) and Duke Nukem (ranked 3055 p4p, 146 weight class). Yataro comes to the cage accompanied by Misoji Misaki. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Takayama Yataro! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Duke Nukem! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nukem gets caught flat footed, as Yataro shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Yataro prevents Nukem from getting back to his feet. Yataro trying to control but Nukem is working from the bottom. Yataro chips away with some ground and pound. Yataro has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Yataro lands a couple of digs. Nukem looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Yataro postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Yataro scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Yataro won't allow Nukem to get back to his feet. Yataro cracks Nukem with a solid left hand. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Nukem can do anything to dispel that myth. Nukem has momentary wrist control but Yataro slips an elbow through the middle. Nukem can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Yataro controls the pace. Yataro keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Nukem's head. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Yataro's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Yataro lands a couple of elbows. Yataro connects with a couple of short punches. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Yataro lands a couple of decent looking shots. Yataro stops Nukem from standing up. Yataro scoring with punches to the head and body. Yataro trying to control the position from guard on top but Nukem is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Nukem is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Yataro is controlling him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Yataro lands a couple of decent looking shots. Nukem is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Yataro is controlling him. Yataro passes Nukem's left leg - he's now in half guard. Yataro stops Nukem from getting back to his feet.
Yataro winds up and cracks Nukem with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Yataro working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Yataro stops Nukem from getting back to his feet.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Yataro winds up and cracks Nukem with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Nukem pushes Yataro off but Yataro dives into side control.
Nukem is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Yataro scoring with punches and elbows. Yataro is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Nukem's shoulder. That is not cool. Yataro landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. Yataro in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Yataro working the head with strikes.
Nukem is rocked! This has been an exciting period of action! Nukem is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Yataro has just dragged him back down to the mat. Nukem is still in real trouble! Can Yataro finish him? Yataro scores with a couple of short elbows. Yataro cracks Nukem with an elbow. That is naaassty. Nukem is working to avoid the ground and pound but Yataro connects with a decent elbow. Yataro takes a little break here. Nukem wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. Yataro creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Nukem is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Yataro landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. Yataro working the ground and pound. Yataro prevents Nukem from escaping the position. Nukem takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Yataro cracks Nukem with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Yataro immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Nukem is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Yataro!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Takayama Yataro! A relieved looking Takayama Yataro thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
