Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Keith Bowers (ranked 6628 p4p, 0 weight class) and Suge Knight (ranked 3711 p4p, 0 weight class). Knight has chosen Compton as his entrance music. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Keith Bowers!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Suge Knight!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Knight connects with a looping right hand.


It looks like Keith Bowers has been cut.
Bowers scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Bowers tries to keep at a distance but Knight has taken the fight into the clinch.
Knight wants to break free but Bowers has control.
Bowers looking for a takedown.

Knight gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.

Knight is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Bowers is just riding it out for now. Knight eventually gives up the hold.
Bowers makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Bowers.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Knight slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Knight won't allow Bowers to sweep him here.
Knight landing with the ground and pound.
Knight working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
Knight is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Bowers wants to sweep here but Knight controlling him for the moment.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Knight forces his way into half guard.
Bowers moves into full guard.
Knight trying to control the position from guard on top but Bowers is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Bowers bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Knight's guard.


Knight is looking for a triangle here but Bowers uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Bowers scoring with punches and elbows.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Knight tries to escape but Bowers is in control.
Bowers blocks the strikes from Knight.
Knight throwing some weak shots from the bottom that do no damage.
Knight sneaks back into half guard.
Knight is looking to control Bowers's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Knight avoid being mounted?
Bowers winds up and cracks Knight with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Knight wants to control but Bowers is keeping busy.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Bowers escapes and gets back to his feet.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Bowers is defended easily by Knight.
Knight fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Bowers looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Knight closes the distance and clinches.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Knight lands with a right to the head.
Bowers is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Knight pulls him back up using the underhooks.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Keith Bowers. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Bowers trying to stall but Knight improves his position.

Bowers ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Bowers no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Suge Knight will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Keith Bowers's cut.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Knight lands a nice hook to Bowers's body. Bowers takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Bowers misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
A punch combination from Knight misses.
Knight steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! Bowers is out on his feet! Knight sets himself and nearly takes Bowers's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:24 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Suge Knight!
Suge Knight bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
