Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Reece HC (ranked 2440 p4p, 124 weight class) and Leonardo Yoshi (ranked 4092 p4p, 182 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Reece HC! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Leonardo Yoshi! The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Sam Margolis and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Yoshi doesn't succeed with the takedown letting HC counter with a right hand. Leonardo Yoshi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. HC closes the distance and pushes Yoshi back into the cage. Yoshi goes for a takedown in the clinch but HC prevents it.
Yoshi throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but HC blocks it with crossed arms. Yoshi fails to pull guard.
We've been hearing reports that HC has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Reece HC has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Leonardo Yoshi. Yoshi tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. HC just stands there and leans against the cage. Yoshi is looking for a takedown up against the cage. HC gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Yoshi tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. HC smiles and moves away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Yoshi closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming HC to the mat! HC manages to get full guard. HC wants to get back to his feet but Yoshi is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Yoshi drops back looking for a leg! HC is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and HC manages to kick Yoshi off! Yoshi jumps back into HC's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Yoshi trying to control the position from guard on top but HC is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Yoshi drops back looking for a leg! HC is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and HC manages to kick Yoshi off! Yoshi jumps back into HC's guard. HC wants to get back to his feet but Yoshi passes into half guard.
Yoshi passes to full mount!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Yoshi lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Yoshi is going oldschool here, as he tries to force HC to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so HC shrugs it off. Yoshi manages to capitalize on a mistake by HC to take his back! Yoshi looking for the choke but no joy. Yoshi working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but HC is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Yoshi has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! HC taps out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Leonardo Yoshi! After winning the bout, Leonardo Yoshi thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
