Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Marcin Vanatta! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kaede Jun! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Phil Schofield and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jun fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Vanatta, pushing him back against the cage. Jun dodges an elbow strike from Vanatta.
A hook to the body from Jun.
Vanatta looking to slow down the pace here. Jun lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Vanatta backwards. Both guys are working to get underhooks. Jun lands a right hand. Jun blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Jun lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Jun gets through Vanatta's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Jun scores with a shot to the side of Vanatta's head. Vanatta looking to slow down the pace here. Jun taking a breather. Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Vanatta obliges. Our sources have told us that Vanatta has been working on his elbows in the gym.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jun gets through Vanatta's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Vanatta taking a breather. Jun works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.

Jun lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Vanatta backwards. Jun lands a hook that snaps the head of Vanatta backwards. Jun lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Vanatta is rocked! Jun digs a right hand underneath Vanatta's ribcage. Vanatta let out a lung full of air as it connected. Vanatta slows down the pace here.
Still in the clinch, Jun scores with a nice short uppercut.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. A short left from Jun. Jun lands on the inside with an uppercut. Oh Vanatta is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Jun pushes Vanatta back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. An uppercut to the body lands inside from Jun. Vanatta is breathing heavily. Jun working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Jun lands with a light punch inside. Jun scores with a hook to the body. Jun dips a shoulder and cracks Vanatta with a mighty uppercut! Vanatta falls back against the cage and Jun unloads with a barrage of strikes! Vanatta is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Jun screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kaede Jun! After the fight, Kaede Jun was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
