Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Taichi Takahasi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Keith Ronald Kernspecht (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Keith Ronald Kernspecht has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Taichi Takahasi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Keith Ronald Kernspecht!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Yuuki Gou and Yukihiro Shimada.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kernspecht fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Kernspecht shoots for a double leg takedown but Takahasi sprawls well. He's pushed Kernspecht's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Kernspecht feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Kernspecht wants to control from the top but Takahasi keeps moving.

Kernspecht gets to his feet - Takahasi follows without any prompting.

Kernspecht bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Takahasi wants to control but Kernspecht postures up.

Kernspecht has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Takahasi tries to kick Kernspecht off but Kernspecht keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

It looks like Kernspecht is going to stand back up.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Kernspecht tries to score a body lock takedown but Takahasi shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Takahasi is trying to break the clinch but Kernspecht has him pressed against the ropes.

and Takahasi counters with a series of strikes. Kernspecht will be more careful next time no doubt.

Takahasi shoots in for a takedown but Kernspecht shows good takedown defense.
Takahasi throws a right hand that Kernspecht ducks under and follows up with a left that Kernspecht also avoids with ease.

Kernspecht shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Takahasi's guard.
Kernspecht wants to stand and escape but instead Takahasi has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Kernspecht looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Takahasi puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.

Takahasi escapes and gets back to his feet.
Takahasi stuffs the takedown attempt from Kernspecht. Kernspecht gets slowly back to his feet.

Takahasi has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Kernspecht changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Takahasi tries to avoid it but Kernspecht manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Takahasi to the ground. Takahasi escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Kernspecht tries to stand but can't do so whilst Takahasi controls his leg.
Takahasi manages to get to full guard.
Kernspecht stands up over Takahasi, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Kernspecht gets to his feet. Takahasi looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Kernspecht turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Kernspecht manages to end up in side control.
Kernspecht wants to lay and pray for a moment but Takahasi keeps working.

Kernspecht closes this distance looking for a takedown but Takahasi circles away.
Taichi Takahasi is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Kernspecht shoots in looking for a takedown. Takahasi tries to sprawl out of it but Kernspecht keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Takahasi manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Kernspecht feints and as Takahasi raises his hands in defense, Kernspecht changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Takahasi is working an open guard so Kernspecht takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Takahasi wants to break free but Kernspecht has control.
Taichi Takahasi has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Kernspecht is looking for a takedown up against the ropes. Takahasi gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Takahasi misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Kernspecht.

Keith Ronald Kernspecht comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Kernspecht winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
