The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Boogaard fails in his attempt to clinch. Money Jr has closed the distance and engaged Boogaard in a clinch.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Boogaard just misses with a elbow thrown towards Money Jr's brow. Boogaard pushes off an throws an elbow but Money Jr leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. Boogaard avoids a wild elbow strike from Money Jr. Money Jr manages to pull guard.
Boogaard wants to pass the guard but Money Jr is keeping the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Money Jr controlling the position.
