Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Umberto Turturro (ranked 1369 p4p, 37 weight class) and Mitsugu Takeishi (ranked 1009 p4p, 41 weight class). Both these fighters are unbeaten, so somebody's 0 has got to go!This should be a great matchup!

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Mitsugu Takeishi!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Tarja Halkonen and Johanna Lukiainen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Takeishi lands with a shot to the body.
Turturro shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Takeishi as he jumps to the side.

and Takeishi cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

It looks like Umberto Turturro has been cut.
Takeishi fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Turturro manages to avoid it.
Turturro on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Turturro closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Turturro tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Takeishi swivels and escapes.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Umberto Turturro. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Takeishi throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Turturro stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Turturro has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Turturro there as he acknowledges the shot.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Takeishi, as that shot connected.

Turturro takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Turturro seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

Takeishi feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Turturro sprawling to the canvas! Turturro rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Takeishi finish him?!

Umberto Turturro's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.

Takeishi cracks a nice hook into Turturro's ribs.

Takeishi lands a big right hand that sends Turturro crashing to the mat! Takeishi stays standing though and waves Turturro back to his feet!
Oh Turturro is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Turturro seems to have got his legs back now.
Takeishi lands with a shot to the body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Takeishi comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Takeishi lands a slapping body shot.
Turturro walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Jeez, Umberto Turturro's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Umberto Turturro's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
