Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nig Nig!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Tarja Halkonen and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williams shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Nig sprawls well. Nig wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Williams gets slowly back to his feet.
Williams has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Williams shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Williams takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Williams goes for a double leg but Nig avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Nig continues to drive forward.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for David Williams. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Nig misses with a hook. Williams ducked under it nicely.
Nig misses with a straight left.
Williams darts in looking for a takedown but Nig gets double underhooks and turns Williams into the cage.
Nig paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Williams moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Williams fails to land the takedown.
Nig drops Williams with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Williams looks back up at him and smiles so Nig waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Williams is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Nig cracks Williams with a left hook right on the temple and Williams goes down! He's out! Referee! Stop the fight! Nig lands a few more punches before the dopey ref steps in - hopefully Williams is OK!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Nig Nig!
Nig Nig is the new light heavyweight champion!
Nig Nig was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
