Bagetti has chosen Bob Marley - Get up, stand up as his entrance music. Andre Luiz Capoia has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Andre Luiz Capoia! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Caio Bagetti! The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Edson Gomes and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bagetti gets a takedown into half guard. Bagetti is trying to work for a kimura but Capoia is defending well.
Capoia blocking the ground and pound attempt from Bagetti. Capoia is trying to stand up here but Bagetti is controlling him well. Bagetti trying to pass the guard but Capoia defending well. Bagetti sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Capoia defending well though. Capoia is trying to stand.
Bagetti is working for a submission of some sort.
Capoia wants to control but Bagetti is keeping busy and won't allow it.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Bagetti shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Bagetti was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Bagetti jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Capoia manages to avoid the submission attempt. Capoia is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Bagetti asserts his dominance and retains side control. Capoia is breathing heavily. Capoia takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Capoia is trying to buck Bagetti off.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bagetti is chipping away with strikes.
Capoia pushes Bagetti away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Bagetti gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. You can see the frustration on Capoia's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Bagetti is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Capoia knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Capoia parries the strikes from Bagetti easily there. Bagetti is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Capoia to escape.
Capoia is not content to let Bagetti control the position. Capoia can't do much from the bottom here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bagetti grinds an elbow into Capoia's temple. Bagetti advances to full mount. Bagetti is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Capoia is surviving well by controlling Bagetti's body position as best he can. Capoia is trying to stand but he's just given Bagetti his back. Bagetti lands a punch to the side of the head from the back.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Bagetti working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet. Bagetti is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Capoia defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined. Capoia trying to control but not successfully. Capoia has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke. Capoia is taking damage to the body and head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Caio Bagetti dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Bagetti feints and as Capoia raises his hands in defense, Bagetti changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Bagetti is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Bagetti prevents Capoia from getting back to his feet. Bagetti with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Capoia pushes Bagetti off and scrambles back to his feet.
Bagetti closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Capoia is staying active underneath Bagetti, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Capoia pushes Bagetti off looking to stand but Bagetti dives back in and keeps control.
Bagetti is looking for a kimura here.
Capoia wants to get back to his feet.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bagetti is trying to work for a kimura but Capoia is defending well.
Capoia looks like he's trying to stand up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Bagetti has Capoia up against the cage in a clinch.
Capoia misses with an elbow strike.
Bagetti jumps into guard, dragging Capoia to the mat.
Capoia wants to get up but he can't break Bagetti's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Bagetti pulls Capoia in close to prevent any damage. Bagetti is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Bagetti looking for a guillotine here but Capoia defends easily.
Capoia wants to get up but he can't break Bagetti's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Capoia wants to stand and escape but instead Bagetti has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Bagetti is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Bagetti must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Bagetti connects with a couple of short punches. Capoia wants to get back to his feet but Bagetti is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Bagetti throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Bagetti won't allow Capoia to get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Capoia is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Capoia is working for takedown but Bagetti is calmly controlling the position for now. Capoia wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Bagetti jumps into guard, dragging Capoia to the mat.
Bagetti working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Capoia doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Capoia manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Capoia avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Caio Bagetti showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Capoia avoids a punch combination nicely.
Bagetti shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Capoia's guard. Bagetti stands up from guard. Let's bang! No joy there for Capoia, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Bagetti closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Bagetti lands in his opponent's guard. Capoia not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Bagetti is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Capoia seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Capoia can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Bagetti controls the pace. Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Capoia wants to get up but he can't break Bagetti's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Capoia has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Capoia reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Capoia taps out! nice BJJ there by Bagetti!
