Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sean Thomas (ranked 4916 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kyo Yodachai (ranked 5315 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Sean Thomas! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Kyo Yodachai! The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Sandra Marshall and Winston Alpacca.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Thomas clinches up with Yodachai and pushes him back against the cage. Thomas blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Yodachai utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body. Thomas is trying to pull guard but Yodachai turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Yodachai lands a nice elbow from the clinch. Thomas avoids a wild elbow strike from Yodachai. Yodachai missing with knees to the body.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Yodachai slips nicely into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Yodachai is keen to just control but Thomas is a slippery customer. Thomas wants to improve his position but Yodachai is controlling well.

Yodachai jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Thomas manages to avoid the submission attempt. Thomas is not content to let Yodachai control the position. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Yodachai controlling the position from side mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Thomas no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Yodachai pushing down on Thomas's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Thomas is trying to maintain the position but Yodachai is very close to passing his half guard. Thomas is not content to let Yodachai control the position. Thomas regains full guard. Nicely done. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Thomas wants to sweep here but Yodachai controlling him for the moment. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Yodachai wants to control from the top but Thomas keeps moving.

Thomas is trying to control Yodachai's posture but Yodachai avoids it. Thomas is not content to let Yodachai control the position. Yodachai tries to advance to mount but Thomas denies him. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Thomas is positioning himself to get back to half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Yodachai moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Thomas is looking to work some ground and pound but Yodachai has wrist control. Thomas gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Yodachai fails in his attempt to clinch. Yodachai tries to clinch up. Thomas gets tackled into the cage by Yodachai. Yodachai maintains the clinch. Yodachai tries to land knees in the clinch but Thomas avoids the damage to the body. Thomas decides to pull guard. Thomas controls Yodachai momentarily but Yodachai frees himself. Thomas isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Yodachai stacks Thomas on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Yodachai! Both fighters are breathing heavily. Yodachai is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Thomas is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Yodachai tries to move to mount but Thomas blocks the move with his legs.

Yodachai looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Yodachai wants to control but Thomas is keeping him busy. You can see the frustration on Thomas's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Thomas tries to buck Yodachai off but Yodachai is having none of it. Yodachai wants to control but Thomas is keeping him busy. Yodachai thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Yodachai wants to lay and pray for a moment but Thomas keeps working. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Thomas tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Yodachai wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Sean Thomas. I think Yodachai has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
