Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jim Masterson (ranked 5760 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nodaypin Scherkov (ranked 5195 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scherkov swings widly with a right hand
and Masterson counters with a lovely straight right hand!
It looks like Nodaypin Scherkov has been cut.
Scherkov should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Masterson lands with a shot to the body.
Scherkov tries to bum rush Masterson with a series of wild strikes but Masterson uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Masterson misses with a hook.
Scherkov ducks under a wild hook from Masterson.
Despite the aggression on Scherkov's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Scherkov fails to land with a series of punches.
Masterson drops Scherkov with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Scherkov looks back up at him and smiles so Masterson waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Scherkov is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Masterson knocks out Scherkov with a massive right hand! The ref tackles Masterson before he can follow up with any more strikes and that's it everyone. Masterson picks up the big W with a huge KO!
