Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Robby Talley (ranked 7789 p4p, 0 weight class) and Big Balloo (ranked 5170 p4p, 0 weight class). Big Balloo will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Robby Talley! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Big Balloo! The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Saam Ante and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Excellent takedown into side control there by Balloo. Balloo has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Talley slips a jab and a cross from Balloo.
Talley tries to sprawl but Balloo drives through with a takedown into half guard. Talley kicks Balloo off and gets back to his feet. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Balloo shoots in and gets a takedown into Talley's guard. Talley could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Talley pulls Balloo in close to prevent any damage. Balloo is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Talley bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Balloo's guard. Talley won't allow Balloo to sweep him here. Balloo working a defensive guard but Talley manages to pass into side control anyway.
That's one minute gone in the round. Balloo takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Talley landing strikes. Talley has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Balloo is looking for a sweep. Balloo looks winded! Talley takes a little break here. Balloo wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. Talley stands up and beckons Balloo to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Balloo closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Talley keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount. Talley gets back to full guard.
Talley wants to sweep but no luck. Talley bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Balloo's guard.
Talley gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Talley rushes Balloo and presses him up against the cage. Balloo jumps guard and drags Talley to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Balloo looking for subs off his back but Talley has passed one foot through into half guard.
Talley working the head and body with strikes. Talley winds up and cracks Balloo with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Balloo really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Talley. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Talley connects with a nice short shot to Balloo's temple. Talley is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Balloo has managed to free his arm - good work. Talley prevents Balloo from improving his position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Balloo keeps trying to improve his position. Talley is thwarting Balloo's attempts to control the position. Talley lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Talley is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Balloo sees it coming and defends easily. Talley stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Balloo to get to his feet. Balloo misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Robby Talley dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Balloo clinches up with Talley and pushes him back against the cage. Talley gets a trip takedown into half guard. Balloo wants to stand back up but Talley manages to pass into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Talley is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Balloo is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Talley cracks Balloo with an elbow. That is naaassty. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Talley creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
Balloo is rocked! Talley has hold of Balloo's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Balloo tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Talley cranks the arm and Balloo screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Balloo, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Robby Talley!
