Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Steve Montenegro and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
West lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Spar pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
West wants to counter with a clinch but Spar pushes him away.
Spar misses with a body shot.
Spar misses with a straight left.
West has taken the fight to the clinch.
A nice left hand lands by West.
West tries to pull guard but Spar forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
West pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
West takes one on the button.
West forces Spar back against the cage and clinches.
West content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Spar lands a shoulder strike.
West is trying to pull guard but Spar has him pressed against the cage.
West escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
West shoots in but no luck this time.
4 Spar has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Wayde West.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
West turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Spar looks to throw the jab but West is out of range.

West tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Spar just stands there and leans against the cage.

Spar gets through West's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
West blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Spar lands a nice shot to the body.
West jumps guard and drags Spar to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Spar slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

West not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

West working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Spar doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Spar manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
West keeping moving, preventing Spar from controlling successfully.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Spar.
Spar misses the body punch
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
West fails with a takedown attempt.
Spar is looking to counter punch.

and Spar connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Wayde West seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A head kick misses from West.
No luck with that takedown attempt from West.

West gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Spar counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Spar misses with a body kick.

Spar lands a big head kick that sends West tumbling to the mat! Spar takes a step backwards and waves West back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Wayde West has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Spar stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Spar wants it to stay on the feet.
Spar quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.
West is still on wobbly legs! Can Spar finish him?
Spar misses with a low kick.
Nice takedown defense from Spar. No joy for West on that attempt.

Spar throws an overhand right that drops West like a sack of potatoes! Spar dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
