The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slice fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Slice shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Toney as he jumps to the side.
Slice gets a takedown into half guard.
Slice wants to lay and pray for a moment but Toney keeps working.
Toney gets back to full guard.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Slice's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Toney is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Slice is controlling him.
Toney has a closed guard, preventing Slice from standing up.
Slice gets to his feet - Toney follows without any prompting.

Toney lands a jab to Slice's midsection.
Duke Toney seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Toney doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Slice decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Toney's guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Slice with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Toney to score with a decent uppercut.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Toney connects with a nice short shot to Slice's temple.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Toney shoots for a takedown but Slice saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Toney stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Slice swivels though and keeps the full guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

and Toney counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Toney bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Slice's head.

Toney lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Slice is rocked!
Toney fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Slice sprawls well initially but Toney persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Slice is still in real trouble! Can Toney finish him?
Toney escapes and gets back to his feet.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Toney looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Slice has momentary wrist control but Toney slips an elbow through the middle.

Kimbo Slice comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Toney has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
