Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Sterling Workman (ranked 25312 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stevie Boy (ranked 6728 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Sterling Workman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Stevie Boy! The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Dillan Fox and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Some wild striking there from Workman.
Boy gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Workman to score an easy takedown into full guard. Workman slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Boy trying to control the position.
Boy controlling the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Workman stopping the sweep attempt from Boy. Workman really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Workman is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Workman drops back, looking for a kneebar! Boy looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Boy looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Boy! Workman is looking to reverse the position. Workman knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Boy on the ground. Workman tries to control the position but he's not in luck - Boy easily slips into full mount! Boy should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Boy trying to control but he's not successful this time. Boy controlling the position easily from mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Boy is looking to work his way around to Workman's back. He needs to be careful though, as he's in danger of losing this dominant position. Boy trying to control but Workman is having none of it. Workman blocking the ground and pound. Workman has given up his back.
You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
Workman is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
Boy is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Workman knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Workman for a finish. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Boy tries to get the hooks in deep but Workman pushed the leg off. Workman covering up well under a barage of strikes. Workman can't escape the position.
Boy is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Workman defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined. Boy looking for the choke but no joy. Boy avoiding Workman 's attempts to control his hands.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Workman tries to escape the position.
Boy gets his hands free as Workman looks to control. Workman is really stuck here.
Workman preventing the rear naked choke attempt from Boy. Boy has the hooks in. Workman is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted. Boy throwing sloppy strikes. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Boy not allowing Workman to control his hands. Boy throwing strikes from the back - he gets a warning from the referee for striking the back of the head but all these shots are hurting Workman!
Boy avoiding Workman 's attempts to control his hands. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Stevie Boy dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Workman stuffs the takedown. Workman went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Boy tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Workman defends well and Boy ends up having to push Workman into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Boy looks for a takedown but Workman sprawls well. Sterling Workman has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Stevie Boy. Workman throws a head kick that misses. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Boy is defended easily by Workman. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Boy tries for a takedown but Workman sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. No luck with that takedown attempt from Boy.
That's one minute gone in the round. Boy shoots in but no luck this time. Workman fires out a quick counter leg kick but Boy just manages to avoid it. Workman closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Workman lands in his opponent's guard. Boy utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Workman wants to pass the guard but Boy is keeping the position. Boy is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Boy wants to control but Workman is keeping him busy. Workman desperately trying to maintain half guard. Workman wants to get back to full guard. Boy keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Workman is trying to stand.
Boy is taking a breather. Workman says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Workman is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment. Boy stalling. Workman tries to kick Boy off but Boy keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Boy takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Boy prevents Workman from improving his position. Workman controlling the position for now.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Workman has Boy up against the cage in a clinch.
Workman drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Workman is looking to break free of the clinch but Boy has double underhooks. Boy tries to score a body lock takedown but Workman shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Boy wants to take the fight to the mat but Workman manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Workman takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Workman jumps guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sterling Workman dominated that second round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!
Boy is trying hard to land a takedown here. Workman sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Workman throws a leg kick and Boy counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Stevie Boy has got the better of the ground game so far. Boy with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Boy is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Workman preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head. Still in half guard, Boy seems content to control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Workman has his hands clasped together around Boy's back. He's all about the action. Workman tries to roll over but Boy keeps him under control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Workman is looking to control Boy's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Workman avoid being mounted? Boy controlling the action here. Workman regains full guard. Nicely done. Workman will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Boy stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Workman swivels though and keeps the full guard. Workman is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Workman is pulling down on Boy's head. It's preventing any offense from Boy, at least for the moment. Boy seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Workman seems keen to control Boy's posture. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Boy trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Boy keeps trying to improve his position. Boy is looking to work some ground and pound but Workman has wrist control.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Workman misses with a few strikes there.
Workman looks for a takedown but Boy sprawls well. A head kick by Workman misses and Boy counters with a nice double leg into side control. Workman won't be happy with that.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Workman wants to control but Boy postures up. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Workman stops Boy from passing to mount. Boy taking a breather here. Workman can't do much from the bottom here. Boy tries to advance to mount but can't. Workman is trying to escape the position but Boy is controlling the position. Workman is not content to let Boy control the position. Boy thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Workman is pushing Boy's head away, looking to escape. Boy manages to hold on to the position though. Workman can't do much from the bottom here. Boy trying to control the position but Workman is working away. Boy in side control, just content to control the action for now. Boy trying to control the action but Workman is working from the bottom. Boy has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Boy taking a breather here.
And that's the end of the fight! Stevie Boy comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Boy has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
