Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Sergio Bujol (ranked 3437 p4p, 272 weight class) and Fransisco Gonzalez (ranked 24403 p4p, 0 weight class). Gonzalez has a niggling injury. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Donk. Bujol catches Gonzalez right on the button with a cross.
Gonzalez darts in trying to clinch
and Bujol makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Gonzalez walks into a jab.
Bujol throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Gonzalez.
Gonzalez has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Bujol.
Gonzalez shoots and misses
and Bujol counters with a series of strikes. Gonzalez will be more careful next time no doubt.

Bujol with a body punch. A glancing blow.

Bujol throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.

Bujol lands a body shot.
Whack! Bujol lands a heavy head kick that drops Gonzalez. The ref tackles Bujol to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Gonzalez was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Sergio Bujol!
