Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between David Paddington (ranked 422 p4p, 17 weight class) and John Braddock (ranked 216 p4p, 8 weight class). Chooooooooon! Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, David Paddington! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
17 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, John Braddock! The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Vladimir Khabensky and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Paddington throws a series of punches but Braddock avoids them all with ease. Braddock misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Paddington.
Braddock throws a shot from downtown. Paddington moves away and avoids it. Braddock swings for the body but Paddington moves out of range.
Paddington missing with a left hand there. Braddock was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Paddington misses with an uppercut. Braddock rushes Paddington and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. A right hand to the body from Braddock.

Braddock digs a right hand into Paddington's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Paddington's gas tank. Braddock lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Braddock's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Paddington misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Braddock has had enough of the clinch but Paddington keeps him there for the moment. Paddington lands a nice uppercut. Braddock tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Paddington tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Paddington jumps guard and drags Braddock to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
That's one minute gone in the round. Paddington is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Braddock preventing the sweep. Braddock trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Braddock showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Braddock must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Paddington throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.

Paddington doesn't need a second invitation though! He's locked up a guillotine and he's squeezing tight! That is tiiiiiiiiight! Braddock paying the price for stalling here - he's pushing hard on the arm trying to free himself but it's no use! He's tapped! WOW, quick submission from Paddington - great work!
