Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Carver McNulty (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brett Reznar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Reznar comes into a darkened arena with his song building. m.o.v.e - BREAK IN2 THE NITE kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Carver McNulty! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Brett Reznar! The judges for this bout are James Glass, James Atkins and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Reznar tries to clinch up but McNulty circles away and keeps his distance. McNulty uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Reznar. Horrible takedown by McNulty or perhaps it was just good defense by Reznar which made him look bad. Carver McNulty seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Reznar throws an overhand right that lands on McNulty's shoulder, as McNulty tries to avoid the shot. Reznar scores with a jab. McNulty acknowledges it with a nod of the head. McNulty works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Reznar closes the distance and clinches. A left hand lands to the body for McNulty.

Some stalling of biblical proportions here from McNulty. McNulty is trying to drag Reznar to the mat but Reznar just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. A looping hook to the body misses from McNulty. Reznar does a little dance to reset his feet. McNulty throws a right and a left that both miss. McNulty instigates a clinch. An uppercut to the body lands inside from Reznar. McNulty tries to land knees in the clinch but Reznar avoids the damage to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. McNulty manages to break the clinch.
Reznar connects with a jab. McNulty scores with a crisp jab that stopped Reznar in his tracks. Reznar throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
McNulty throws a left and a right that both miss
and Reznar counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Reznar feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends McNulty sprawling to the canvas! McNulty rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Reznar finish him?!
McNulty is rocked! McNulty tries for a takedown but Reznar circles away easily and Reznar counters with a stiff jab, followed by a cross and an uppercut! That's too much punishment for McNulty to take - he tumbles to the canvas, blood pouring from his nose, barely conscious. That's the end of the fight! Great knockout by Reznar!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Brett Reznar! Brett Reznar is the new light heavyweight champion!
