Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sergey Beznisko (ranked 159 p4p, 22 weight class) and Solomon Kahn (ranked 286 p4p, 48 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beznisko on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Kahn lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

It looks like Solomon Kahn has been cut.

Kahn lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Kahn crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Beznisko - the referee stops the clock and Kahn gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Beznisko. Kahn manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Kahn, as that shot connected.

Kahn is trying to push Beznisko away but Beznisko has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
I was talking to Beznisko's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Beznisko has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Kahn avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Kahn's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Beznisko lands a huge takedown. Kahn is out but the ref is slow to react and Beznisko lands 3 more undefended punches before the fight is stopped. Brutal finish. Kahn lies on the canvas for a good minute before the doctors bring him round. Good to see he's OK.
