Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jack Spriggins (ranked 4090 p4p, 416 weight class) and Florian Stancu (ranked 6399 p4p, 521 weight class). Stancu has chosen Stan Bush- On My Own as his entrance music. On his way into the cage it seems that Jack Spriggins has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Jack Spriggins seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Florian Stancu!
The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Eliza Hachem and Steve Erwin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spriggins misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Spriggins closes the distance and clinches.
Stancu drops down looking for an ankle pick but Spriggins pulls his leg out and moves away.
Stancu takes one on the button.

Spriggins's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Spriggins lands a head kick. Stancu smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Stancu is defended easily by Spriggins.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Stancu shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Spriggins as he jumps to the side.
Jack Spriggins has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Florian Stancu.
Stancu tries for a takedown but Spriggins sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

and Spriggins counters with a three punch combo that has Stancu backing up. Stancu nods at Spriggins to acknowledge the strikes.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Spriggins connects with a good right hand that stumbles Stancu. Stancu circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Stancu shoots in and drives through. Spriggins sprawls well.
Spriggins seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Stancu tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Spriggins swivels and escapes.

Stancu looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
A left and a right from Spriggins both land. Nice combination.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Spriggins stops a takedown attempt from Stancu.

Spriggins lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Stancu is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Stancu is still on wobbly legs! Can Spriggins finish him?

Stancu drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Spriggins drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Stancu right on the button. Stancu goes down! Spriggins follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Spriggins gets the win via TKO!
