PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Antonio Jose De Sucre (ranked 553 p4p, 89 weight class) and Kayring Saiarr (ranked 972 p4p, 156 weight class). De Sucre kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Bolivianos el Hado Propicio. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 29 - 23 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Antonio Jose De Sucre!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Kayring Saiarr!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Dillan Fox and Gregory Folan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De Sucre lands a nice leg kick that just misses Saiarr's sensitive parts.
Saiarr lands with a straight right. De Sucre didn't see that one coming.
De Sucre connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
De Sucre shoots for a takedown but Saiarr saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Saiarr looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Saiarr throws out a loose jab but De Sucre uses good head movement to avoid it.
De Sucre gets off balance looking for a body kick
enabling Saiarr to counter with a crisp jab.
De Sucre pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Nice body kick from Saiarr.
De Sucre fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
De Sucre tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Saiarr swivels and escapes.
Saiarr looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Saiarr walks into a stiff left hand from De Sucre.

De Sucre looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Saiarr is clearly trying to counter these attacks from De Sucre with a body shot.
De Sucre cracks Saiarr with a right hand to the side of the head.
Saiarr swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
De Sucre connects with a body shot that sends Saiarr's belly button to the back.
De Sucre is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Horrible takedown attempt by De Sucre or perhaps it was just good defense by Saiarr, which made it look bad.
De Sucre throws a right hand that Saiarr ducks under and follows up with a left that Saiarr also avoids with ease.
De Sucre tries for a takedown but Saiarr sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
De Sucre just misses with a punch to the body.
De Sucre scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Kayring Saiarr is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Saiarr misses with a body kick.
Saiarr leaves De Sucre with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Saiarr flicks out a counter leg kick but De Sucre steps away.

De Sucre shoots in looking for a takedown but Saiarr manages to keep the fight standing, pushing De Sucre's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Saiarr looks like he wants to counter punch here.
De Sucre throws the left hand but Saiarr avoids the punch easily.
De Sucre misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
De Sucre avoids the body shot from Saiarr.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


De Sucre misses with the combination.
De Sucre throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Saiarr steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from De Sucre. That one must have hurt.
De Sucre shoots in but no luck this time.
Saiarr stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Saiarr wants it to stay on the feet.
Saiarr misses with an uppercut. De Sucre saw that one coming.
De Sucre throws a hook to the side of Saiarr's head but Saiarr sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Saiarr swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Saiarr motions for De Sucre to come forward. Saiarr throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
De Sucre with a poor takedown
and Saiarr counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

De Sucre throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Saiarr.

De Sucre moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Nice uppercut lands for De Sucre. That snapped Saiarr's head back.
Antonio Jose De Sucre is winning the standup battle so far.
De Sucre falls off balance throwing a combination
and Saiarr cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Saiarr drops De Sucre with a huge uppercut! De Sucre drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Saiarr is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
