Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are James Glass, Colin Fotheringham and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stringer swinging wilding here.
Stringer throws a right hand that Nishimura ducks under and follows up with a left that Nishimura also avoids with ease.
Stringer dips to his left and cracks Nishimura with an uppercut!
Avon Stringer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Stringer throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Nishimura tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Stringer swivels and escapes.
Nishimura looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Stringer is fending him off so far but Nishimura persists. Nope, Stringer circles away and we're back to standing.
Stringer just misses with a punch to the body.
Stringer jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Stringer will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Stringer throws a head kick but Nishimura moves out of range.

Stringer comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Nishimura walks into a left hand.
Stringer throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Stringer lands a high kick to the side of Nishimura's head that stuns him and send him tumbling down to the canvas! Stringer dives into guard, looking to finish.
Nishimura is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Nishimura is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Oh Nishimura is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Stringer moves into full guard.
Nishimura seems to have got his legs back now.
Nishimura might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Nishimura trying to control but Stringer is working from the bottom.
Stringer wants to sweep here but Nishimura controlling him for the moment.
Nishimura is pushing down on Stringer's leg trying to pass to half guard. Stringer is fighting to maintain full guard but Nishimura has managed to sneak the leg through.
Stringer is staying active underneath Nishimura, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Nishimura tries to pass the half guard into mount. Stringer knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Stringer is trying to get back to full guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Stringer wants to improve his position but Nishimura is controlling well.

Nishimura shoots in and drives through. Stringer sprawls well.

Stringer connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Nishimura tumbling to the canvas! Stringer pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Nishimura was done - good stoppage!
