Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Stef Power Jr! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Denis Kurlaev! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kurlaev throws a jab when Power Jr was well out of range. Kurlaev swings away with a body shot that misses
and Power Jr counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
It looks like Denis Kurlaev has been cut. Kurlaev throws a right hand that misses

Stef Power Jr seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kurlaev looks to land a left hand but Power Jr moved out of range nicely. Power Jr catches Kurlaev with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Power Jr tests Kurlaev's chin there with a solid looking shot. It looks like Power Jr has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Power Jr throws an overhand right that lands on Kurlaev's shoulder, as Kurlaev tries to avoid the shot. Kurlaev is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent. Power Jr moves into range and clinches up with Kurlaev. Power Jr is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Power Jr is looking to break free of the clinch but Kurlaev has double underhooks. Kurlaev is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Power Jr to escape.

Power Jr lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Power Jr is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
