Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bon Dones (ranked 2775 p4p, 366 weight class) and Cornelius Burns (ranked 1988 p4p, 279 weight class). Bon Dones is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 9 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bon Dones! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Cornelius Burns! The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dones manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Burns on his heels. He'll look to pass Burns's guard now, I'm sure. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Burns wants to sweep but no luck. Burns looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Dones prevents Burns from getting back to his feet. Dones is looking to work some ground and pound but Burns has wrist control. Dones stopping the sweep attempt from Burns. Dones stops Burns from standing up. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Dones accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Burns wants to stand up but Dones is controlling him. Burns has control of Dones's left arm, preventing Dones from doing any damage. Dones landing with the ground and pound. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dones working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Burns's head. Burns wants to get back to his feet but Dones is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Burns wants to sweep but no luck.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dones landing some decent shots from guard. Burns has his hands on Dones's head, controlling the position. Dones throws a big elbow that misses. Burns can't keep his opponent in guard - Dones advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Burns really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dones. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Burns is trying to stand up here but Dones is controlling him well. Dones sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Burns defending well though. Dones trying to control the action but Burns is working from the bottom. Burns is trying to stand.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Dones thows a huge punch but Burns dodges it nicely.
Dones missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Dones stops Burns from getting back to his feet.
Dones is controlling the pace.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dones's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Burns wants to get back to his feet.
Burns controlling the leg, holding on to half guard. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Burns wants to get back to his feet.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dones tries to clinch up but Burns circles away and keeps his distance. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Burns! But no joy. Burns jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Burns leaves Dones with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Burns swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Dones looks to clinch and Burns counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Dones gets off balance looking for a body kick and Burns counters with a straight right hand. Cornelius Burns is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Burns uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Dones.
A nice side step and Burns releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. Dones pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Burns throws out a counter right but Dones avoids it with no problem. Dones displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Burns throws out the jab.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dones misses the body punch and Burns counters with a nice right hand that sends Dones toppling to the canvas! Dones scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Burns finish him?!
Dones is rocked!
It looks like Bon Dones has been cut. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Burns looks to land a left hand but Dones moved out of range nicely. Oh Dones is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Dones throws a head kick that misses and Burns rattles Dones with a well-timed uppercut counter. - Dones tries to back away and recover but his hands are down low and he gets tagged again, sending him stumbling down to the canvas. Burns dives in after him and quickly finishes the job with a trio of brutal punches, leaving Dones stiff and motionless on the mat!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Cornelius Burns! Cornelius Burns seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
