Coming up we have a featherweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Ma Moru (ranked 3165 p4p, 263 weight class) and Frankie Hollywood (ranked 1722 p4p, 87 weight class). Moru comes into the arena with slam dunk opening theme song blaring out of the sound system. Frankie Hollywood acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Moru tightens his grip and picks Hollywood up, before dumping him to the ground. Hollywood manages to land in guard. Moru drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Hollywood manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Moru has Hollywood in his guard. You can't force these things though and Hollywood defends well. Moru escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Hollywood gives him a little smile and shakes his head. Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Hollywood is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Hollywood drops back looking for a leg! Moru is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Moru manages to kick Hollywood off! Hollywood jumps back into Moru's guard. Moru is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Moru escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Hollywood gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Hollywood trying to control the position from guard on top but Moru is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Moru looking for a sweep. Not yet Moru, not yet. Moru is trying to keep Hollywood in close.
That's seven minutes gone in the round. Moru keeping moving, preventing Hollywood from controlling successfully. Moru looking to hit a scissor sweep but Hollywood is one step ahead there. Hollywood passes Moru's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Moru trying to control but Hollywood postures up.
Hollywood seems to be looking for submissions.
Hollywood is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Moru defends it well. Hollywood has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Holding Cell. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one. Moru actively working from the bottom here.
That's eight minutes gone in the round. Hollywood is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Moru is just riding it out for now. Hollywood eventually gives up the hold. Moru looking for a kimura from the bottom but Hollywood passes into side control! Score +3 for passing guard: Moru (6) vs (9) Hollywood Hollywood tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Hollywood has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Moru is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at Tycoon Gym, so we'll see if he gets out of it. Hollywood working away. Moru is looking to reverse the position. Hollywood is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Moru is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
That's nine minutes gone in the round. Hollywood working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Moru is looking for a sweep. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hollywood has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Moru is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Hollywood yanks on the arm and Moru is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Hollywood.
