Coming up we have a featherweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Gut Punch Jr (ranked 5617 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hadjiril Matba (ranked 5470 p4p, 362 weight class). Matba comes into a darkened arena with his song building. B.Y.O.B . kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

And in the blue corner, fighting out of Amsterdam, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; Hadjiril Matba! The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Daniel Cesar and Leandro Rodrigues.
The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way. The fight stays on the outside here - Matba looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Punch Jr moves into the clinch successfully.
Matba tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Matba is trying to pull guard but Punch Jr turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Punch Jr prevents a takedown attempt there.
Gut Punch Jr has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hadjiril Matba. Matba fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Punch Jr successfully pulls guard.
Matba forces his way into half guard. Punch Jr is trying to get back to full guard. In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Matba working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Matba is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Punch Jr is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
